Если вы сталкивались с Facebook и задачей вывести информацию на страницу пользователя/компании - то знаете какой это геморрой. На странице http://www.facebook.com/webwhispers собраны всякие полезные советы, которые уменьшат колличество часов на танцы с бубном. К примеру, хотим вывести на главную страницу компании (в виде таба в профиле) - информацию с внешнего сайта. IFrame, fb:iframe здесь вам не помогу. А поможет внешнее приложение, которое можно быстро сделать по следующему сценарию

Step 1

a) Create a New app here: In this example its “Your new application name” b) After hitting the "Create Application" button you come to the following screen

Click the “Authentication” tab. For the label “Installable to?” check both Users & Facebook Pages

Step 3

Click the “Profiles” tab For the label “Tab Name” enter your required display name for your tab -->e.g. “ Comments”

Step 4

Click on the “Canvas” tab For the label “Canvas Page URL” enter a unique URL name by which you application will be called on your browser --> e.g. “ur_new_app_link” For the label “Canvas Callback URL” enter the complete URL of you page residing on your server. If this file is called without any parameters then add a “?” at the end. In short the URL that you enter should have a question mark --> e.g. it would look like this http://www.your-site.com/file-name.html? For label “Render Method” select the radio button called “FBML”

Step 5

Hit the save button and you will go to the “My Application” page. On this page open the link “Edit Settings” (as highlighted in the image 1 below). Go to the “Profiles” tab and for the label “Tab URL” re-enter the name of the URL e.g. “ur_new_app_link” as you had done on Step 4 (check image 2 below). Image 1 Image 2

Step 6

Hit the save button and you will come back to the “My Application” page. On this page click on the “View Application Profile” as highlighted in the image below

On this page click “Add to my page” which gives you a pop-up. On the pop-up overlay hit the button “Add to page” for the respective page where you want this content to be added as a TAB

Step 8

Go to the WALL of your business page. On the left column, below the image there is a link “Edit Page”. Click it. On this page search for the application name you created (in this example – “Your new application name” Click “Application Settings”, which gives you a pop-up overlay (below image). Click the "add" link. This puts the content file residing on your server on to a TAB of your business page.
